There is no need to be cold at the yard any more!!
The secret to keeping warm when outdoors is layering your clothing correctly, not in wearing hundreds of cotton tops! We always get hot and sweaty when mucking out and traipsing across the fields etc, then rapidly cool down when we stop. This is because our clothing becomes damp when we work, then we feel freezing when we stop! An effective base layer wicks moisture away from the skin then dries out, so when you stop working your clothing is still dry and warm.
These tops are fab! They really do work. All the staff here wear them and one person even trialled it when walking up Snowdon in November - and it performed excellently (both the top and the staff member!).
