Symmetry Straps
SYMMETRY Lower Leg Training Straps have being designed to help Riders to develop the feel of the correct position, and train the body to be able to adopt and maintain this position easily, in a safe, simple to use, discreet way.
SYMMETRY works by securing the stirrup iron to the girth, so that the movement of the lower leg is restricted. In this way, SYMMETRY
• Increases Body Awareness
• The Rider becomes immediately aware of how much their lower leg has been out of position or moving involuntarily.
• Promotes muscle memory and strength
• By training the body to adopt a quieter position, the Rider builds the muscular strength to hold the correct position.
SYMMETRY has an in-built safety feature that releases the restriction on the stirrup iron when pressure is exerted. The Safety Officer at the BHS has been testing them and believes them to be a much safer and easier alternative to bale twine.
SYMMETRY is very easy to use, and the restriction on the lower leg can be easily adjusted from horse back.
They are also extremely discreet, so observers will find it difficult to spot a Rider using them.
