The whole issue of bitting seems so complicated, and everyone seems to recommend something different! So how do you know what's right for YOUR horse? Well the simple answer is that every horse is different, so they all need something different in their mouths. Most common bits are based on ideas which are 100's of years old and which don't take the horse's mouth shape into consideration.
