A dilemma that faces us on several occasions is what rug to use when the weather is not guaranteed sunshine. A lightweight turnout could be too warm and cause the horse to overheat yet a Fly Rug offers no waterproof protection resulting in the horse getting wet. The Horseware® Fly Rug Liner solves this problem. It consists of 3 layers…
· Waterproof and Breathable Outer which is white to reflect the sunlight and to help keep the horse cool
· An absorbent layer that transfers moisture away from the horse
· A Super Smooth nylon lining that will polish your horse coat and prevent rubbing
It’s shallow depth further helps to keep more air circulating around the horse to keep cool and is easily attached to the neck loops and extra fillet ‘D’ ring on your rug. It is suspended from the outer rug and does not slip.
